You're in the know is a program that started as an idea at a Church Council meeting. The idea was something different to get the attention of the people as they passed by the monitors that are located throughout the church. The sound guy's ran the idea around and came up with a local news format. We have a small studio set up complete with a news desk and an interview set. We have even done some on site interviews.
Robert Wigglesworth, Paul Hamor, Randy Shaw and Wally Atkins are the anchors and editors of the news team. Guest anchors include Kim Mazolla, Lauren Alvis, Ethan Ford, Mike Kern, Lyndsay Evans. We meet once a week to record the weeks events. Our new format is to provide a 2-5 minute video broken into segments which would include events that are happening Sunday - Tuesday. The second would include Wednesday - Saturday. The third would include events that are coming up next week, and the last would include events that are coming up in the near future. We also might include public service announcements that are relative to the church membership and their health.
