Acteens is the WMU mission’s organization for girl’s grades 6 – 12.
Through Acteens, teenage girls grow as Christ followers in their commitment to Christ, their passion for missions, and their desire to impact God’s world.
The Acteens group at West Hampton meets twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday night from 6:00 pm – 7:45 pm.
Once a month the group works on their MissionsQuest books; which is an individual achievement plan that help them to go deeper in their mission’s lifestyle.
You can see the girls doing a great deal of “hands on mission’s”; like visiting nursing homes, singing Christmas carol at local hospitals, to making care packages for missionaries.
The Acteens participate in the “Weekender” every year at Eagle Eyrie in Lynchburg, VA., and the National Acteens Convention which is now called BLUME (held every 5 years) throughout the United States.
At West Hampton we believe…missions is at the heart of Acteens.
