Week One—Topic: THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD
Key idea: God,Maker and Ruler of all, loves you and wants you to join Him in
reaching others so they can know Him, too.
Key verse: “ ‘But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all
these things will be provided for you’ ” (Matt.6:33).
Week Two—Topic: A KING AND HIS PEOPLE
Key idea: You were redeemed to become the King’s moveable representative.
Key verse: “Now if you will listen to Me and carefully keep My covenant, you will
be My own possession out of all the peoples, although all the earth is
Mine, and you will be My kingdom of priests and my holy nation.
These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites” (Ex.19:5-6).
Week Three—Topic: A KING AND HIS PURPOSE
Key idea: God desires to reveal His character through His people that the nations
might know He is God.
Key verse: “ ‘It is not for your sake that I will act, house of Israel, but for My holy
name, which you profaned among the nations where you went’ ”
(Ezek.36:22).
Week Four—Topic: HIS KINGDOM COMES
Key idea: Greatness in God’s kingdom begins when we empty ourselves so we can
receive His fullness.
Key verse: “ ‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, because the kingdom of heaven is
theirs’ ” (Matt.5:3).
Week Five—Topic: HIS KINGDOM IS
Key idea: Kingdom citizens reveal God to the world through their lifestyle and witness.
Key verse: “ ‘You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose its taste, how
can it be made salty? It’s no longer good for anything but to be thrown
out and trampled on by men. You are the light of the world. A city situated
on a hill cannot be hidden’ ” (Matt.5:13-14).
Week Six—Topic: HIS KINGDOM LIVES
Key idea: Your purpose in life is to advance God’s kingdom, by His power, for
His glory.
Key verse: “ ‘You should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, Your name be honored
as holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in
heaven’ ” (Matt.6:9-10).
Week Seven—Topic: HIS KINGDOM NEVER ENDS
Key idea: God advances His kingdom through His church until He returns Triumphant.
Key verse: “Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on
to grace. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe”
(Heb.12:28).
