It is our intention using drama to bring God's messages to people using a format that is both entertaining and meaningful. We hope that after seeing one of our presentations that you will walk away feeling not just entertained, but also maybe enlightened.

The drama ministry has actively been performing small skits to full presentations.

Our first full production was Christmas 2000 when we presented a "Christmas Story". The setting was a young couples home wanting their baby's first Christmas experience to be "perfect". The whole family (in-laws and out-laws) is invited over for the celebration. What happens next is anything but perfect. After all the guest have left and the final tear has been shed from watching "It's a Wonderful Life" (for the umpteenth time), the young couple have some time to reflect on what just took place. As they pondered the events of the evening with some hints of discouragement, Christmas carolers can be heard out front singing Silent Night. This causes Dad to think for a moment. As he does this he opens up his Bible to Luke chapter 2. His wife returns to the room with the baby in her arms and they all settle in on the sofa. Dad begins to read.... At this time they discover the meaning of the "Perfect" Christmas.

The summer of 2001 "Conspiracy Of Betrayal", placed us in a Courtroom setting. Satan vs. Judas.

The setting was in heaven, with Judge Gabriel presiding. Satan was the chief prosecutor. The story revolves around the betrayal of Jesus by Judas just after the Last Supper. Jesus is the council for the defense. Twelve jurors and one alternate were randomly selected form the audience to sit and pass sentence. Below you will find some pictures of our cast members prior to their dress rehearsal.

Our most recent Christmas presentation of "A Cricket County City Christmas" for Christmas of 2002. A comical, yet eye opening look at what Christmas and the spirit of Christmas should be. It’s a Clampett’s comes to the big snobbish city setting to visit with the city cousins. From the time the door bell rang until the final curtain call, you found yourself laughing loudly out loud. The city cousins are attempting to gain membership in the local society club, when who should arrive on their front porch? It wasn’t Santa Claus; it was cousin Elkin and the rest of the country clan.
The casting, directing, acting, and support staff was phenomenal. Why it was even suggested by one member of the audience that they should take this act on the road.

These photo's were taken during the final dress rehearsal on Saturday night. The set was still being constructed while the play was going on around the set. Bill Dunbar and his crew did an excellent job of constucting and de-constructing the entire set so that we could hold Sunday morning worship without the set walls in place. Benita Ellen directed and played the part of the very snobbish society lady. Joy and Kim Wigglesworth played the country twins. Jim Wiser, Wally Atkins, Tamara Atkins, and Carrie Rae Peters played the city cousins. Michelle Banton played the part of the society friend. Harry Yeaman, and Keith Ellen played the part of the country cousins and Kristy Williams played the part of the hip swinging maid.
